Life's cupboard©

No one's complete without an old, hardly visited creaky cupboard..not the one at home keeping your stuff, valuables or the vanity box...the one which stores your life's unpleasant fineries.

How interesting, a topic of conversation,  moral debates... need i say gossip it becomes for many if someone's door is left ajar due to winds of circumstances. Outsiders, family, freinds get to take a look at it feeling safe in their hearts that its not their own. So many taking a hard connoisseur look in shock & disbelief sentencing it as irreparable, damaged & filled with filth....To how many does it occur that for this person the cupboard harbors his/her's lifetime hidden, very private collectibles which they could not let go off. They store a person's misfortunes, struggles, shame, fear, acts & habits which are not acceptable to family or society. Hurting & painful memories ..an endless list. Fear of rejection & inability to trust another human keeps it locked.©

Now who would take a risk of baring it all even if its the only way left for him/her to get help or start a new & a much meaningful life? How many would like to see the unpleasant & lend you their helping hand to clean or sort it out.. how many will have that much time, compassion, patience and the will to stand by you when you really need them? These form the whirlpool of questions & uncertainties which keep it locked & unsorted...but then, the question is for how long?©

I feel only a lucky few get to 'really' spring clean themselves.  So many cupboards can be cleaned or sorted with the help & compassion of someone who is close to you & non judgemental. A friend, a partner, family etc.. or anyone who's ready to lend a well meaning hand. Someone who will not look at the mess & consider it as trash, irreparable, pity you for so much complexity & in the end blame you for the circumstances you're in. Someone whom you can count on, shout out for help, someone who has time for you and will not back out at your most helpless moment. Someone who will not let you be ashamed and feel insecure. Someone who will support you in your fight for life understanding that without help this cupboard will not be clean & appreciates that you trust him/her that much. Do such people exist?  the answer is yes. we are the people we are talking about. We are the ones who need help and we are the ones who can help.©

Why is it so easy for us to throw stones at others, condemn a life on all grounds known to man. What stops us from helping & making friends with the black sheep or the under dog? Why can't we accept human life with its imperfections and find a balance to live and let live? Why can't we light a lamp for others and help them see the light? God has blessed all of us with these aids/tools by which we can reach out to others less fortunate than ourselves. But instead of using God's tools of love and compassion we end up using the Devil's... ego, impatience, punishment, belittling, self praise, vengence, betrayal, destruction etc....sometimes all in one go.©

Vanity they say is the devil's favorite sin and in the present times reality is evidence to its presence. Man has so much potential that if wanting by sheer will power of the mind working in harmony with the love in his heart he can light up the dark universe of so many lives by a gazillion  bright stars. This light will never extinguish for it shall be carried forward by all those in whose life he/she has made a difference. So why be afraid to find a way in rubbish with a spring in your step? Rubbish is strewn in our lives for us to clean and not to fly over it. Its there for a reason, for a purpose.

Helping someone in need is one of the biggest needs of the present time. These days almost everyone around us needs some sort of a helping hand. Nothing is more satisfying than reaching out and being there specially if circumstances dictate struggle, hard work and risk of failure. Its simply God's way of making you his instrument. We those who want everything, mercy, forgiveness, few miracles and the happiest lives for ourselves should be able to do the same for others who come to us in need and ask for help. If one can offer it without being asked then even better.©

If the learning is not complete or if its temprory then there will be more hurdles and acid tests. There's someone watching us and understanding it all..he's kind, loving and forgiving. For him all are his own light. All he wants from us is to be human to others and nothing more. ©
